Please read this agreement carefully before registering. It describes the nature of Beyond the Scroll, what participants can expect and the policies that apply to registration and participation.

About Beyond the Scroll

Beyond the Scroll is a four-week guided wellness experience created to help participants slow down, become more intentional with their time and attention and feel more connected to themselves, others and the life happening around them.

The program includes:

  • One three-hour in-person retreat

  • A chef-prepared lunch

  • A guided workbook

  • Reflective exercises and group conversation

  • Three follow-up Zoom gatherings

  • An optional group walk

  • Practical tools and opportunities for continued reflection

Specific activities may be adjusted based on the needs of the group, venue requirements, weather or other circumstances.

Nature and Scope of the Program

Beyond the Scroll is a wellness and educational program. Although it is facilitated by a licensed clinical social worker, it is not psychotherapy, group therapy, medical treatment, psychological assessment or crisis care.

Participation does not create a therapist-client relationship between the participant and Emily Claire Breno, Anchored Point Wellness, LLC or any guest facilitator. The program is not a substitute for individual mental health care, medical care or other professional services.

Participants are responsible for seeking appropriate clinical or medical support when needed. No diagnosis, treatment plan or individualized clinical recommendation will be provided through this program.

Program registration information and participant communications are maintained as business records rather than psychotherapy records.

Eligibility

Participants must be at least 18 years old unless prior written approval has been provided by Anchored Point Wellness, LLC.

By registering, the participant confirms that they are able to participate safely in a group-based wellness experience and understand the nature and scope of the program.

Voluntary Participation

Participation is voluntary. Each participant may decide how much personal information they wish to share.

Participants may:

  • Decline any exercise, movement activity or discussion

  • Take a break when needed

  • Ask questions or request reasonable support

  • Leave an activity if they become uncomfortable

Choosing not to participate in a particular exercise or missing part of the program does not create eligibility for a partial refund.

Some conversations or reflective exercises may bring up emotions. Participants are encouraged to care for themselves, use their own judgment and seek individualized support outside the program when appropriate.

Group Privacy and Respect

Participants may choose to share personal reflections during the retreat or Zoom gatherings. Everyone is expected to treat those conversations with care and respect.

Participants agree not to:

  • Share another participant’s personal story or identifying information outside the group

  • Take screenshots of online gatherings

  • Make audio or video recordings

  • Photograph another participant without permission

  • Post information about another participant on social media

  • Allow another person to listen to a Zoom gathering without the group’s knowledge

Participants may speak about their own experiences but should not identify or describe other members of the group.

Anchored Point Wellness, LLC will take reasonable steps to support privacy. However, because this is a wellness program rather than psychotherapy and includes multiple participants, complete confidentiality cannot be guaranteed. Each participant is responsible for honoring these expectations.

Zoom Participation

Participants should join Zoom gatherings from a private location whenever possible and use headphones if another person may be nearby.

Participants may not record Zoom gatherings. Recordings of missed sessions will not be provided because personal information may be shared during group conversations.

Participants are responsible for having a working device and reliable internet connection. Ordinary technology problems do not create eligibility for a refund. If a significant technology problem on the facilitator’s end prevents a gathering from taking place, the gathering will be rescheduled.

Zoom links are intended only for registered participants and may not be forwarded or shared.

Movement and Optional Activities

The program may include gentle movement, mindfulness practices, walking or other optional activities.

Participants understand that:

  • All physical activities are optional

  • They are responsible for deciding whether an activity is appropriate for them

  • They may modify or discontinue an activity at any time

  • They should consult a qualified medical professional if they have concerns about participating

  • They should stop immediately if they experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath or another concerning symptom

  • They should inform the facilitator privately about accessibility needs or relevant limitations

The program does not include medical screening, individualized exercise instruction or medical supervision. Participants accept responsibility for monitoring their own comfort and physical well-being.

Food Allergies and Dietary Needs

Lunch and refreshments may be prepared or served by the venue or an outside vendor.

Participants are responsible for disclosing food allergies and dietary restrictions by [deadline]. Anchored Point Wellness, LLC will make reasonable efforts to communicate these needs to the venue or food provider but cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment or prevent cross-contact.

Participants with serious allergies are responsible for taking appropriate precautions and bringing any prescribed emergency medication.

Accessibility

Anchored Point Wellness, LLC wants the experience to be as accessible as reasonably possible. Participants are encouraged to communicate accessibility needs before registering or as soon as possible afterward.

Reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate requests, although some accommodations may depend on the venue, available resources and sufficient advance notice.

Program Fee and Payment

The standard program fee is $595. Any approved promotional, founding or scholarship rate will be reflected at checkout or confirmed in writing.

Registration is not complete until the initial payment has been successfully processed.

Participants may choose to:

  • Pay the full amount at registration

  • Use the available payment plan shown at checkout

For the standard payment plan, the first payment is charged at registration. The remaining balance will be automatically charged to the same payment method on [payment date].

If a promotional code is used, the amount due at registration and the remaining balance will be displayed before checkout is completed. The participant is responsible for reviewing the full payment schedule before authorizing the purchase.

By choosing the payment plan, the participant authorizes Anchored Point Wellness, LLC and its payment processor to charge the scheduled balance to the payment method provided.

If a scheduled payment fails, the participant will be notified and given [number] calendar days to provide a valid payment method. If the balance remains unpaid, Anchored Point Wellness, LLC may cancel the registration and release the space. Previously collected payments will be handled according to the cancellation policy below.

The full balance must be paid before the in-person retreat.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Please review this section carefully. By registering, the participant confirms that they understand and accept the following cancellation and refund terms.

Because this is a small-group experience and venue arrangements are made in advance, $100 of each registration is nonrefundable.

If a participant cancels on or before [cancellation deadline], they will receive a refund of any amount paid beyond the $100 nonrefundable portion. If the participant selected a payment plan and the remaining payment has not yet been charged, that scheduled payment will be canceled.

After [cancellation deadline], all payments are nonrefundable.

A participant who is unable to attend may transfer their registration to another eligible person through [transfer deadline]. All transfers must be requested and approved in writing by Anchored Point Wellness, LLC. The replacement participant must review and accept this agreement before attending.

Refunds or credits will not be provided for:

  • Late arrival

  • Early departure

  • Missed Zoom gatherings

  • Missed activities

  • A participant’s decision not to complete the program

  • Technology problems on the participant’s end

  • Removal due to a serious violation of the participant-conduct expectations

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to contact@anchoredpointct.com.

Program Cancellation, Weather and Changes

If Anchored Point Wellness, LLC cancels the entire program and does not offer a replacement date, participants will receive a full refund of program fees paid.

If severe weather, venue closure, illness, safety concerns or circumstances outside the organizer’s reasonable control require the in-person retreat to be postponed, participants will be notified as soon as reasonably possible. Registration and payments will be transferred to the rescheduled date.

If a Zoom gathering must be canceled by the facilitator, a replacement gathering will be scheduled.

Reasonable changes may be made to the schedule, activities, meal offerings, venue space or guest facilitators when necessary. Such changes do not automatically create eligibility for a refund when the central program experience can still be provided.

If the participant cannot attend a rescheduled retreat: [Insert your chosen policy here. For example: “The participant may transfer their registration to another eligible person or receive a credit toward a future Anchored Point retreat held within 12 months.”]

Minimum Enrollment

Beyond the Scroll requires a minimum number of participants to proceed.

If the minimum enrollment is not reached, Anchored Point Wellness, LLC may cancel or reschedule the program. Participants will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer their payment to a future program.

Anchored Point Wellness, LLC will make this decision no later than [minimum-enrollment decision date].

Participant Conduct

Beyond the Scroll is intended to be a respectful and emotionally safe group experience.

Participants agree to:

  • Treat other participants, facilitators and venue staff respectfully

  • Avoid harassment, discrimination, intimidation or threatening behavior

  • Respect physical and conversational boundaries

  • Follow reasonable venue and safety expectations

  • Refrain from attending while impaired by alcohol or non-prescribed substances

  • Protect the privacy of other participants

  • Avoid monopolizing, disrupting or repeatedly interfering with the group experience

Anchored Point Wellness, LLC reserves the right to address concerning behavior and, when necessary, remove a participant whose conduct threatens safety, violates another participant’s privacy or substantially disrupts the program.

A participant removed for a serious conduct violation will not be eligible for a refund.

Communication and Emergency Limitations

Questions about program logistics may be sent to contact@anchoredpointct.com.

Email and program communication channels are not monitored continuously and should not be used for emergencies, crisis support or urgent clinical concerns.

Anyone experiencing a mental health or medical emergency should call 911, contact 988 or seek assistance from an appropriate local emergency service. Participants should contact their own therapist, physician or other provider for individualized care.

Anchored Point Wellness, LLC does not provide on-call clinical support through Beyond the Scroll.

Photography and Promotional Materials

Photography consent is optional and will be requested separately.

A participant may decline to be photographed without affecting their ability to participate. Anchored Point Wellness, LLC will not intentionally use an identifiable photograph, testimonial or personal statement for promotional purposes without the participant’s permission.

Participants may not photograph or record other participants without their express consent.

Personal Belongings

Participants are responsible for their personal belongings during the retreat. Anchored Point Wellness, LLC is not responsible for items that are lost, stolen or damaged at the venue.
